The NCL VCSE sector
Working together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for our population of 1.6 million people within Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. Our North Central London VCSE sector is thriving, with organisations ranging from smaller faith groups to larger charities and local social enterprises.
We estimate that there are over 6,500 registered charities within the North Central London VCSE sector. There are also many unregistered organisations and groups which fall under our radar, but which are equally thriving in the area. Data and insight collated from our local communities at points of engagement are shared within of our partnership with the North Central London Integrated Care System (ICS).
We are an alliance of local community sector organisations. We work to support people’s health and care across the five boroughs in North Central London. Our strategic partnership with North Central London’s ICS will strengthen the resilience of our sector and amplify the voice of local communities. The core representatives of the North Central VCSE Alliance have decades of experience, insight, and diversity, in terms of their knowledge of community needs, the sector, and their own specialisms.
Our plans for the future
The voices of North Central London’s communities and residents are vital in providing locally relevant solutions to issues relating to health and wellbeing. We endeavour to create significant opportunities for positive dialogue, to drive social change and sector resilience, and to create better health outcomes with stronger partnership working.
We intend to do this by:
- Becoming a sustainable and diverse VCSE sector.
- Working as a key partner in North Central London’s ICS.
- Supporting our local communities to drive and shape change, creating a more positive future for themselves, their friends, and their families.
